While I was working on this week's Texas Tuesday project, I realized that I need some new stamps! Every idea I had required something I did not have. You would think as much Texas/Western imagery that Deadbeat Designs has there would be more than enough. Nope... not enough. Nevertheless, I managed to muddle through with my meager selection of stamps.
Here's the front - I love using Colorbox Frost White ink on a light brown background. And if you only own one of the swirl stamps, you are just not experiencing a full life. And if you don't even have one, well...you poor thing. Anyway, the stitch marks were done with a white pencil.
And here's the inside. More stitching, a Nestabilities die and the Greetings From Texas stamp. I also dragged the Frost White ink pad over the edges of the die cut shape and lightly colored with Prismacolors. If I were sending this to someone, I would probably use the inside to write a note but for the sake of Texas Tuesday, I wanted to put something inside.
Be sure and visit all of the Texas Tuesday folks! And if you want to join us on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, let us know and we'll add you to the link list!

Love the "faux" stitching! Great card! Tina

AWESOME! I really like the look of it. It's almost wallet like.

Love this. It would be great as a masculine gift card holder.

Can I make a stamp design suggestion? I would love to see some southwestern stamps with things like kokopellis and lizards.

Ok, I am a Newbie and I want to know about this first and third Tuesday thing. Is it strictly on the blog, or is it a class at the shop in Solado? If so, I want to come!
Julia, who is newly transplanted here from Florida.
