Sitting here in the hotel in Austin, waiting for Lynn to pack up. I should probably help but since she has just emptied a box of chalks onto the floor, I think I'll just keep typing.
Thanks to all who participated in the big Deadbeat Road Trip 2011 - just about everyone was a pleasure to be around. We love happy, enthusiastic people, both store owners and customers alike and luckily in this business you find a lot of them! I think everyone had a good time and the projects turned out great! Here are some pics from the last 3 days...
Googly Eyes and Craft Supplies in Irving.
Felicia's Scrapbooks in Austin
Well, Lynn's almost finished so I guess it's time to ask if I can do anything to help. Typical male, right? More pics of the new stamps soon but first a nice long nap and then back to work on the stack of orders on my desk. So maybe by October I'll be caught up.

So glad it was a success Mark! Looks like full houses in all places. . .but speaking of males, I didn't see one in any of the classes. They need to do more of an outreach to guys. We need more guys in this business! Hope you are well. . .Best, Curt

Had a great time @Googly Eyes class! Learned some new things, I like your new stamps, and couldn't believe how fast the time went by. I also thank y'all for the roach clip--if there was ever a phrase I never thought I'd hear in a stamp class, it'd have to be "roach clip"! I got a good laugh outta that. Not as much as I did watching Anderson Cooper laughing so hard he was crying over the Depard-two comment the other day, but a good laugh nonetheless. Love watching people when they can't stop laughing cause it makes me laugh that hard too--like when they used to lose it during the Carol Burnett shows :)

Just to say I had a blast at Felicias store
doing yours and Lynn's class. I enjoyed talking about Florida (since I am from Ft Lauderdale (Plantation)too!) YOUr stamps are really nice and easy to work with. I don't
get much chance to take classes and this was THE one time I had no family obligations! Those "people" get on my nerves sometimes! LOL!
