After about a year of being completely ignored, distrusted and hissed at, one of the neighborhood strays has given in to my persistance. And let me just say, there are benefits to being ignored.
This cat just won't leave me alone! Unlike Scissor, who would rather die than act needy, this one can't get enough attention. Unfortunately for him, I get my cat fix much sooner than he gets his human fix. Nevertheless, a friendly cat is a nice change - at least in small doses.
These are the only shots that were clear enough to post. He absolutely will not be still. Feline ADHD?
This photo is particularly poignant. You may have to click on it to see a couple of curious black ears behind the glass. Sorry, Scissor. You are an inside cat. Deal with it.
So I guess my catfood expense just doubled.

Sweet looking kitty....do you have a name in mind for this one? I sure enjoy our 2 orange kitties...real characters!

Does anyone ever go out looking to get a cat I wonder? We never have. They always just appear. And they're always characters.
Your new guy sure is a cutie. The middle pic of him is adorable. What's his name? I reckon you could get a 3rd one and name 'em rock, paper, & scissor. Ha!

One of the lucky ones. Isn't it great when they finally decide that you're not the enemy?

OH, I think Dexter and my Bridgette must have the same ADHD! She will NOT leave me alone and at this very moment is curled up between my two arms with her chin on my left arm. I cannot move except for my fingers and she is drooling on me. At night she curls up in my hair and makes biscuits in my scalp. Ouch! But I would not trade her for anything! :)
I am soooo glad that you are a cat sorta guy----there is hope for you yet, Mark! LOL!
