This post is for those of you who like to wait until the last minute before you get anything done. If you've been considering making a card to enter the Texas Independence Day contest, this is pretty much you're last chance. All cards need to be in my mail box by Saturday, March 2. I suppose technically, you could wait a little longer, drive to Salado, go into the post office and beg the nice person behind the desk to put it into my box but that's a lot of trouble to go to, right? So why not just get off your ink pads and get busy?
Meanwhile, here are a couple more Texas cards from the vault. Sure, I could have made some brand new cards but my desk is full of new stamps and class samples for the big retreat in April. Unlike some people, I don't wait until the last minute.
You may have heard that Stamp Salado isn't going to close after all! Apparently, someone has swooped in and bought it so it looks like it will go on. I haven't heard for sure who the new owner will be but..... you know, the pope just got fired and is looking for a new gig...
Speaking of the retreat, we've set a deadline of March 15 for sign ups. We need to know an exact number so that Lynn can get started on everyone's class schedules. And since Lynn is the queen of procrastination, a deadline is completely necessary. So you've got a couple more weeks to make up your mind. Retreat information is HERE.
