Happy Columbus Day, I guess. Another unnecessary holiday not to mention historically inaccurate and inappropriate. So if you have business at the bank or post office today, blame Columbus... just like millions of Native Americans.
I spent some time experimenting with Dylusions Ink Sprays. They are messy and fun and the colors are bright and blendable. Anyway, the background of this card is a piece of watercolor paper sprayed and then dragged a wet brush across to smooth everything out. The house was also sprayed but I left the splatter. A white pen adds some pop.
The moon was punched from a left over piece of watercolor paper that I sprayed. I stamped the house in Frost White Colorbox on purple card stock and again on white for the windows which were cut out and colored with colored pencils. The door was cut and folded open so the little skull could peek out.
No houses or Dylusions here. The round mask I used a few days ago for a card still had some life in it so I sponged/stippled Memento inks and went over it with some Wink of Stella markers. I inked only two of the three bats since I thought I didn't have room. Looking at it now, I remember that I had a pumpkin to add at the bottom of the fence. Wonder what happened to it..... oh well, I'm not taking another photo!
